{Meal Planning Monday}

HI!! Whew...is it Monday already? The weekend was CRAZY!! We finished most of our powder room re-do....wanna see?

Still have a few more things to perfect before I call it "complete" but for now...we're done!

I plan on spending this week getting back to normal. Hopefully all of the sickness is clearing up and I can actually focus on eating really well and figuring out a new plan for my workouts this week. I finished up with Yoga Camp over the weekend so I am not really sure what I will do next. Probably just do Yoga with Adriene's videos.Yoga is my THANG!

I plan to start planning out my weekly dinners so that I can make more of an effort to make more of a "formal" dinner instead of just eating eggs and bacon every night. :)

This is my plan for the week:

Roasted Al fresco Chicken Apple sausage with sweet potato cubes and roasted okra

Salsa Turkey Lettuce Wraps with avocado and mango

Avocado Chicken Salad in whole wheat pitas with roasted green beans

Egg omelet with caramelized onions and goat cheese with Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin Bread toast

Enchilada beef with mashed sweet potatoes and asparagus

Shredded pork with a plantain mash by Paleomg

What is on your plan for the week???

{Meal Planning Monday} 1/4/16

Happy 2016!!! Let's start this year off right! Meal planning, focusing on our health, adding in exercise and being the best that we can be! Are you in?

I started the 30 days of Yoga Camp and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fresh start mentally and physically for 2016.

Let me share with you my meal plan for the week:

DETAILS:

  • For the taco salad.... I will use ground turkey, organic spring mix, plain Greek yogurt, organic cheese, avocado and salsa. YUM!

  • I will use Applegate Chicken and Maple breakfast sausage and cinnamon raisin Ezekiel toast for my breakfast for dinner meal.

  • Dr. Praegers California Veggie Burgers are always a fave. I love to eat them with organic ketchup and avocado served on top of mashed baked sweet potatoes!

  • Leftover night is my favorite night of the week! Everyone just eats whatever is in the fridge. Sometimes I make organic mac and cheese for the kids! So easy!

So tell me.....

What are you making for dinner this week??

Happy Monday!! We spent the weekend celebrating my baby girls 6th birthday. It was so much fun and exhausting at the same time! I think it's gonna take me a week to recover!

There were quite a bit of "non-clean" foods there for the kids to enjoy. It's once a year so I bought the treats I knew she would love!

{Weekly Planning Monday} 7/5/15

Happy Monday!

It's been a little quiet on the blog because I've been on vacation but now we're home and recovering! I feel like I could sleep for days! We had a blast though. The kids played on the beach, swam in the pool, hung out with family and went hunting for crabs at night. It was baby boys first beach trip and he wasn't thrilled with the whole beach situation but he did like the pool thankfully.

We spent July 4th at a local parade and then had a cookout with my family. We ate my Greek Harvest Salad, Grape salad, Grilled Al Fresco Apple Chicken Sausages and watermelon. It was DELISH!!

I'm so glad to be home and back to our normal routine. I ate pretty well on vacation and worked out some but definitely threw in a few treats! I'm ready to get back to working out daily, eating my typical clean meals and drinking more water.

Here's my plan for the week:

Breakfasts:

Lunch:

  • Banana Wraps

  • Eggs, nitrate free bacon, Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin toast

Snacks:

  • Coconut Greek yogurt with fruit and organic granola

  • Apple and homemade trail mix with almonds, walnuts, coconut chips and dark chocolate chips.

Dinners:

  • Grilled Chicken, zucchini, squash, onions and avocado.

Drinks:

  • Herbal Tea (Buddha's Herbs Wings, Green Tea with herbs and Celestial Seasonings Chamomile Honey Vanilla)

  • Tons of WATER

  • Berry La Croix

Dessert:

  • Dark Chocolate

Workout:

{Meal Planning Monday} 6/8/15

HI!

Hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was busy but a lot of fun! Its been a while since I have done a {Meal Planning Monday} post so I thought I would share with you guys my weekly eats! I decided to be even more detailed and tell you guys literally everything that I will eat this week! I also included my new workout challenge that I am super excited about!!

Breakfast:

Snacks:

  • Homemade trail mix: Walnuts, toasted coconut chips, raisins and dark chocolate chips with an apple.

  • Coconut Greek yogurt with berries and granola

Lunch:

  • Banana wrap: La tortilla low carb wrap, crunchy all natural peanut butter, cinnamon and a banana.

  • Scrambled eggs with Cinnamon raisin Ezekiel bread topped with peanut butter

Dinners this week:

  • Veggie Burgers (I love Dr. Praeggers California burgers) on top of greens from our garden and topped with avocado and grilled onions. I will probably make a baked sweet potato to eat on the side!
  • Omelettes and Pancakes: My kids beg for this dinner. I use Bobs Red Mill 10 grain mix and add banana slices or a few dark chocolate chips. They LOVE pancakes. I use real maple syrup or the kids will eat them plain! I usually eat an omelette with chicken sausage, spinach, onions and feta on the inside.

  • BLAT Wraps with goat cheese and roasted okra on the side.
  • Grilled chicken with grilled veggies on the side : (super simple) I love zucchini, squash, onions and bell peppers grilled with olive oil, salt and pepper! SO good! Oh and I always throw some  pineapple rings on the grill too. There is nothing better than grilled pineapple!

Drinks:

  •  LOTS OF WATER, black coffee, herbal tea, La Croix

Dessert/Treat:

Workouts:

I loved the Bikini Series from Tone it up! I have been doing their workouts for the past 8 weeks and I really enjoy them. I am not an official member (because I have a hard time committing) but every Sunday they post a weekly schedule that includes a ton of their free workouts so I just follow along and modify when I want to do something different. I LOVE, love, love their yoga routines. They have a Summer Bikini Program that starts today so if you want to do it with me.....check out their website for the weekly schedule! Be sure to leave me a comment on facebook or below telling me if you are gonna commit to the challenge!

So tell me....

Are you going to join the Bikini Program with me??

Going to make any of the meals above?

What is your favorite healthy summer dessert?
