Skinny Superfood Smoothie
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 1 cup milk of choice (I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (Find a protein powder without artificial sweeteners--I use Designer Whey French Vanilla)
- 1 large handful of organic blueberries
- 2 tbsp. chia seeds
- 1/2 banana (frozen)
Place baby spinach and milk in blender and pulse until combined. Add protein powder, blueberries, chia seeds and frozen banana and blend until smooth.
I like to let this sit for a few minutes to allow the chia seeds to soften.
**If you don't have frozen banana, you can use fresh....just add in 5-10 ice cubes**
