{Meal Prep Chicken with Thyme}

One of the most important parts of "clean eating" is taking the time to prep your food. Making the time once a week to prep some of your meals will make clean eating during the week MUCH easier. I like to prep my chicken, make oatmeal muffins and make energy balls one day out of the week. It doesn't take very long but it is so nice to have these in the fridge to grab and go! This recipe for chicken is SUPER easy and I am sure you all have your own way of prepping your chicken for the week but this is how I prep mine!

Meal Prep Chicken with Thyme

  • 2 frozen chicken breasts (You can use as many as you would like or can fit in your crock pot)
  • 1/2 cup-1 cup water (or low sodium organic chicken broth)
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 bunch of thyme
Combine all ingredients in crock pot and set on high.

Cook for 3-4 hours on high until chicken is cooked through. Remove from crock pot and allow to cool. You could save the broth to use in recipes as well.

Use immediately or store chicken in airtight container in the refrigerator.

How do you prep your chicken for the week?? What is your favorite way to eat your prepped chicken??
