{What I Ate Wednesday} 11/12/14

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Hope you guys are having a lovely week so far! Do any other Moms out there feel like they have it all together in the morning and little by little as the day goes on.....it turns to chaos? Is it just me?? Crock pot dinners or throw together dinners are the only ones that have successfully made it to the table lately! I have great intentions but if dinner is too time consuming, it just won't happen. Whoever said transitioning from 2 to 3 children is easy has to be out of their mind!! Maybe it is the transition that is hard or maybe it is our temporary living situation with 3 crazy children in a tiny apartment that is making life so difficult. Anywho....at the end of the day I am beyond thankful for all of this chaos. There are many moments in the day when I feel like I may lose it but it is the tiny "I love you Mom" and sweet hugs that make all of this worth it. I know that one day I will get it all together....right??? Right???

On to my eats:

Breakfast: My usual microwave oatmeal. Check out my facebook page and you will find the recipe and a quick video on how I make it. It takes me a few minutes to whip up and inhale so it is perfect for busy mornings.

Snack: Apple and Almonds (super fast and delish)

Lunch: Leftover Crock pot pork tenderloin/Green beans/Red potatoes

Snack: Peanut Butter Cup Protein Shake

Dinner: Eggs, uncured bacon (which I ate while cooking) and Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin toast with organic butter! YUM! This is my go-to. It only takes me a few minutes to whip up and very little thought! My kids and hubby also love this dinner!

After dinner: A cup of warm Lemon Jasmine Green Tea. I love hot tea before bed!! :)

So tell me....

What is your favorite FALL meal???

Favorite food at Thanksgiving???

  1. I love tea before bed, too! You've just inspired me to go make a cup :) Hmm favorite fall dishes? Probably anything in soup form ;)

  2. I've been really enjoying nuts this fall. Pistachios, pecans, walnuts, you name it. For some reason they taste better.

I love tea after lunch, I'll have to find a caffeine free blend for before bed!
