Happy Wednesday!! My baby boy has been sick all week and he was nice enough to share his cold with me! YAY! Yesterday was a relax and take care of baby kind of day so eating was kind of last on my list. I haven't been snacking quite as much lately....I have been trying to make sure that my meals include more protein and more veggies and that seems to be helping me stay full and not need to snack all day.
Today I plan on planting myself beside the Christmas tree with a warm blanket, a hot cup of tea and my sweet babies. I think some Christmas movies may make me feel better! :)
So here goes.....What I ate Wednesday! Thank you to Jenn for hosting my favorite PARTAY!!
Breakfast: Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin Bread with almond butter and scrambled egg/egg whites. With a LARGE cup of coffee, of course!
Lunch: Sweet Potato Shepherds Pie
Snack: handful of raw almonds
Dinner: Mexican Chicken and Quinoa Casserole
Dessert: 2 squares of dark chocolate and some banana ice cream. Delish!
