{Five on Friday} 11/15/13

I know...I know...Two posts in ONE DAY! Crazy?? I just couldn't pass up on FIVE ON FRIDAY!! I love it too much!! This one is going to have a holiday theme because I am Thanksgiving and Christmas obsessed right now! Planning on putting up my Christmas tree this weekend which is a little early for me but I am beyond ready!!


one: Sweet Potato Souffle


Sweet Potato Souffle is one of my favorite holiday side dishes. It is at every get-together that I attend and is always my favorite!! I made my own version (without any added sugar or butter) and it is SO GOOD! My husband said that he likes this one just as much as the original! Recipe will be posted next week!

two: Christmas decor


How cute is this?? I am so excited to get decorating. Mine will not look as cute as that because I have two children who would absolutely LOVE to destroy every bit of it!! I just love hanging out in my living room with all of the lights off except for the Christmas tree twinkle lights. Who is with me???

three: Deco Mesh Wreath


I plan on making my Christmas wreath next week and this is kind of what I have in mind. I love making deco-mesh wreaths! They are way easier than they look! I will post what mine looks like next week!

four: Peppermint Bark


I love Peppermint bark and I love that I am finding healthier Christmas goodies all over Pinterest! Check out my Pinterest Board for some healthier ideas! I am planning on making all new Christmas goodies this year! This one is definitely on my list to try!

five: Gingerbread Latte


I love Gingerbread Lattes!! Although I will probably partake in quite a few of these from Starbucks this year...I love the fact that I can make a healthier version of these at home! Looks pretty simple! Now I need to make up a healthier version for a Peppermint Mocha. YUMMMM!!!

  3. I'm so ready for Holiday decorations! My son and I were rocking out to Christmas music in the car today and it made me just want it even more! I LOVE peppermint bark!
