Peanut Butter Cup Protein Shake

Who doesn't love Peanut Butter Cups?? The combination of chocolate and peanut butter is like a match made in heaven! I made this for my baby sister the other day after we finished a super intense workout and we both inhaled them! It was like dessert!! It is ridiculously simple. Let me tell you how I made it!

Peanut Butter Cup Protein Shake

{serves 1}
  • 1 scoop of Chocolate Protein Powder (find one that isn't artificially sweetened)
  • 1 tablespoon PB2 (a.k.a. peanut flour-I get this from Amazon)
  • 1/2 medium banana
  • 6 oz. water
  • 5-10 ice cubes
  • pinch of Xanthum Gum (optional)
Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.

{If you are watching your calories....this is around 200 calories per serving}

**Xanthum gum is a thickener that gives this a "milkshake" consistency. Perfectly fine to omit if you don't have any. I also purchased this on Amazon.**

Enjoy!!

  1. I'm new to clean eating and your blog has been an enormous help. I just made this smoothie. My first thought after taking a sip was, "Oh, Thank God!" It was a huge treat. Well, it tasted like one. ;) Thanks for all of your advice and recipes. They are greatly appreciated.

    1. Hi! I usually try to find one without artificial sweeteners and the best ingredients I can find. Right now I am using MRM all natural but I have used Designer Whey for a long time and love it as well!
