No Guilt Mocha Frap Protein Shake
{Serves 1}
- 1 cup milk of choice (I used Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk)
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I used Designer Whey)
- 1 tsp. instant espresso powder
- 1 tsp. water
- 5-10 ice cubes
- Stevia drops to taste (Or stevia packet)
- pinch of xanthan gum (optional)
Topping:
- 1 tbsp. Organic whipped topping or Truwhip (I used Trader Joe's House Whip)
- Dark chocolate shavings (optional)
Combine espresso powder and water in small bowl and stir to combine. Place milk, protein powder, espresso/water mixture, stevia and ice cubes into blender and pulse to combine. Add a pinch of xanthan gum and pulse again to incorporate. Pour into glass and top with organic whipped topping and dark chocolate shavings.
