{Marvelous in my Monday} #2

Happy Monday! Who doesn't love holiday weekends?? We had such a great weekend hanging out with our families, grilling out and doing July 4th festivities! Here are my iPhone pics from the weekend:

• July 4th Parade: Every year we go to the parade. There was face painting, games, rides, live music and lots of food to enjoy! 

So much fun!!! :)

•Pool fun/Grilling out: We spent the rest of the afternoon lounging in the pool, playing volleyball, grilling out and relaxing!

I wish I could say that fireworks were marvelous but we didn't actually get to watch them! I let my baby girl have a milkshake and let's just say...it wasn't nice to her! Here we are right before fireworks!

• Lazy Saturday and Pool time: We spent the morning just laying around, the kids took a long nap and then we spend the rest of the day in the pool. The perfect kind of Saturday if you ask me!

• Sunday: We didn't have quite as much fun on Sunday. I spend most of the day working and the rest of the day lounging on the couch! It was nice to get some rest! :)

{Marvelous in my Monday} #2

Happy Monday Everyone! This is a very special week for me! I get to celebrate my 31st birthday and July 4th...all in one week!! How marvelous is that????

Here are a few things that made my weekend MARVELOUS!! 

• Chocolate Chip Pancakes: My husband makes chocolate chip pancakes with my kids every weekend. My kids look forward to this all week! He always lets them help and they usually eat a ton of chocolate chips in the process!! He even made a few for me with fresh blueberries! So good! We use Bob's Red Mill 10 grain pancake mix with coconut oil and they are always delicious!

• Mani/Pedi: I love it when my whole family is together! My husband even offered to paint my baby girl's nails. She thought this was really special! She had a huge smile on her face the whole time!

• Cuatro Leches Cake: Last night we went out to dinner at my favorite place to celebrate mine and my sisters birthdays! I'm not a huge birthday cake fan but I love cuatro leches cake! This was oh so good!!
