Dark Chocolate {not} Green Smoothie

I LOVE green smoothies but if you are just starting out on your clean eating journey or if the color of a green smoothie weirds you out....this is the perfect smoothie for you!! It is creamy, cold and super chocolatey!! It tastes like a total splurge but it is actually PACKED with nutrients!!

{Dark Chocolate {not} Green Smoothie

  • 1 cup unsweetened Almond Coconut Milk (any milk will work)
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 3/4 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen cherries
  • 2 tbsp. dark cocoa powder
  • 4-5 stevia drops/stevia packet/maple syrup to sweeten
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder **I used MRM all natural dutch chocolate whey 
  • 3/4 tbsp. flax seed meal (optional)
Place ingredients in blender and blend until smooth! 

**Add ice or frozen almond milk cubes if you like more of a milkshake texture!
