I have now found my new favorite turkey burger! I asked my husband what I should call these yummy burgers and he said "THA BEST Turkey Burgers!" They are so ridiculously good! I love adding egg and oats to my turkey burger because they make them so tender. The salsa and onions add a ton of flavor. These are perfect for the summer or any time of the year!!!
Salsa Turkey Burgers
{makes 7 burgers}
1 lb. ground turkey (I used 93% lean)
1/2 cup chunky salsa (I used mild)
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 egg
1/2 cup green onions (chopped)
1/4 cup cilantro (chopped)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Combine all ingredients. Form into 7 patties.
Cook in skillet or on outdoor grill until fully cooked (or meat thermometer reads 165 degrees).
**I like to serve mine with sliced avocado, ketchup and sauteed onions. You can serve this with roasted veggies, on top of spring mix or on some organic bread! Yummy!!!!

I LOVE adding salsa to my burgers! Turkey especially. So good!
