SO this week I have been in kind of a funk! I haven't felt so great. My back has been giving me a hard time and sleeping has not been so easy. On top of all that fun....I am potty training my 2 year old son! AHHH!!! Boys are so much harder I think! Or maybe it is just MY boy!! He does awesome one day and gets lazy the next!
Any tips?? I need all the help I can get!!
So anyways....on to {What I Ate Wednesday}
Breakfast: Oatmeal with dark chocolate cocoa powder, almond milk, chia seeds and honey! YUM!! A cup of coffee on the side of course!
Lunch: Homemade Salsa Turkey Burgers from the other night and half of an avocado. These turkey burgers are AWESOME and I promise to share the recipe next week! Oh and organic ketchup on top of the burger!
Snacks: Bartlett pear, plumcots, banana and unsalted almonds. Not all at one time but I kind of snacked all afternoon.
Dinner: Super simple since I wasn't feeling great yesterday. My kids love pasta so I made an organic whole grain Rotini pasta and topped it with lean all natural ground beef and organic tomato basil pasta sauce. Seriously 3 ingredients and the kids devoured this! Oh and I did sprinkle a little organic shredded cheddar cheese on top because...hey....why not???
Hope you all have a fabulous Wednesday! I am planning on a much better day today! I am off to Target for some maternity clothes! Fun stuff! :)
Do you buy all your meat from a store like whole foods or the regular grocery store?
