Happy Wednesday Everyone!! Hope everyone is having a great week! It has been fairly busy for me so far but I am excited to have absolutely nothing planned for today!! Just hanging out with the kids and maybe a little cooking. Those are my favorite kind of days.
I feel like I have been in such a rut lately with my foods and I am realizing that my sweet tooth is out of control. I have been eating dark chocolate everyday! That isn't too terrible except mixed with the large amount of peanut butter and bananas....I have added on a couple pounds and I am ready to shed those ASAP!! I like to weigh at least once a week. I don't recommend daily but I think once a week is a good way to gauge how you are doing with your healthy eating and decide if your splurges are under control or not!
SO my new plan....switch it up and keep my splurges under control!!
Breakfast: Tone it Up Pancake with a drizzle of maple syrup and coffee. I have missed these pancakes...definitely going to start adding them back in!
Snack: Pumpkin Greek Yogurt {plain Greek yogurt with pumpkin puree, honey, walnuts and pumpkin pie spice} and a Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal Breakfast Cookie **Recipe coming soon
Lunch: Organic Egg and Cheese Omelet on a Ezekiel English Muffins with organic strawberry preserves.
Snack: Homemade Chia and Raisin Granola {**Recipe coming soon} The kids and I literally just ate this out of the jar...it is THAT good!
Dinner: Mashed Sweet Potato with Apple & Pear Crock Pot Pork Chops {**Recipe Posted Soon}
This was a day full of cooking and eating!! Lot's of recipes to share with you guys!!!
So tell me...
Which recipe from above are you looking forward to seeing??
Favorite mix in for plain Greek yogurt??
Favorite way to top a pancake??
I'd love to see the recipe for the pumpkin breakfast cookie. That sounds delicious. My sweet tooth has been crazy lately too. I think for me it's the time of year. So many of the foods you mentioned sound great though. Can't wait for recipes.
ReplyDeleteI'd love the granola recipe! I have a bunch of raisins right now :) I like to mix pain greek yogurt with a homemade berry sauce or granola and a bit of pure maple syrup or vanilla. I love adding strawberries or bananas and slivered almonds to my pancakes. Do you use the Perfect Fit Protein for your Tone It Up Pancakes?
ReplyDeleteI use Designer Whey French Vanilla Protein Powder for my protein pancakes. They always turn out great!
