{What I Ate Wednesday}

Maybe I am a little strange but I am a little obsessed with knowing what other people eat on a typical day. It is very interesting to me and it helps me find new, healthy snacks and meal options to add to my day! This is what I ate yesterday:

Breakfast: (around 7:30a.m)

 Overnight oats with 1/3 cup old-fashioned oats, 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal, dash of cinnamon and a couple stevia drops. I mixed all that up and put it in a jar overnight. I added a handful of berries in the morning.

Snack: (around 10:30 a.m.)

 I was craving something sweet so I cut up one small Gala apple, drizzled with 1 tablespoon all natural peanut butter (check ingredients...should have only peanuts and salt). Next I sprinkled a little cinnamon and added a few dark chocolate chips. This is like dessert. Definitely dealt with my chocolate cravings and it was healthy!

Lunch: (around 1:30p.m.)

Leftover Avocado Egg Salad from Monday night. The only change I made to the recipe is using two tablespoons of Greek yogurt and omitting the mayonnaise. You would never know the difference! I added 1/4 cup of the egg salad to iceberg lettuce cups and sprinkled on a few cherry tomatoes. Awesome lunch!

Snack: (around 4:00 p.m.)

Chobani non-fat plain Greek yogurt with sliced grapes, a handful of almonds and a couple drops of stevia liquid. I usually add some cinnamon to this as well. This is one of my favorite ways to enjoy Greek yogurt.

Dinner: (around 7:00 p.m.)

Dinner was great! I made Dashing Dish's Spinach Artichoke Chicken Bake with some roasted green beans on the side. This was a huge hit! Will be making this again!

Hope this helped give you some ideas for healthy snacks and meals to add to your day! What are some of your favorites??
