So it's been a week since I told you guys my plan to try out the paleo lifestyle for the month of March.
I'm actually doing pretty well. Luckily it's not a HUGE transition from my already clean lifestyle. I could see how going from a "not so healthy" diet to paleo would be much harder.
My energy is up and my stomach feels less bloated. The only thing I miss (at times) is Greek yogurt. I may add that back in next month. Who knows? My family is loving it too. I am so impressed by the different vegetables that my kids are trying and liking. This has definitely sparked my fire for cooking again. I am sure my husband is thankful for that!
On to my eats:
Breakfast: 2 eggs scrambled with avocado and pineapple
Breakfast: 2 eggs scrambled with avocado and pineapple
Snack: Honest Tea and fresh pineapple
Dinner: Chicken Basil Meatloaf with baked sweet potato and asparagus
Bedtime: Chamomile tea
Yum! All of your eats look SO good! My favourite paleo snack/meal has to be our paleo banana bread recipe. It's one of the most popular recipes on the blog and there's no wondering why as it's SO good! Even picky Jesse loves it and he's usually not a fan of any almond/coconut flour based baked goods!
ReplyDeleteSounds delicious! I will definitely be trying that recipe ASAP! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm 35 weeks pregnant with my third and one hyperemesis lifted I have been able to eat my whole food diet again and it's Amazing the difference in how I look and feel. Still healthy and with almost three stone on but feeling stronger.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to following your journey.
Thanks
