I love steel cut oatmeal. I like the texture so much better than regular oats but honestly I rarely meet an oatmeal I don't like!!! It's filling and super healthy! This is a really easy recipe for steel cut oatmeal that reminds me of Apple pie! Yumm!
Apple Pie Steel Cut Oatmeal
1 1/2 cup water
1 small apple peeled and chopped
1 tbsp. honey
2 dashes cinnamon
dash allspice
1/2 tbsp. chia seeds
toppings:
honey
organic butter
chopped walnuts
extra cinnamon
Add oatmeal ingredients to a small saucepan. Cook for 15-20 minutes on medium high until all the water has absorbed. Add toppings of choice!
